Evening & Short Course Programme
Welcome to the School of Histories and Humanities Evening and Short Courses Programme web page. Our Evening and Short Courses Programme is an integral part of our School's outreach initiative. Here you will find a varied and exciting range of lecture-only, day and evening courses in History, Classics, and History of Art & Architecture as well as beginners and intermediate Latin and Ancient Greek language and Culture classes. These are non-assessed courses and, apart from the language classes, do not have any course work or examinations.
Our aim is to provide an environment where people from all walks of life can pursue intellectual enrichment and realize the rewards of life-long learning without the commitment and stresses that are generally associated with further education. Our courses are informative, entertaining and an essential part of everyone's life-long learning and education and appeal to people from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds as well as to a broad age group.
